As a Business Consultant, you will guide our clients in optimising and digitising their processes.
You are a problem solver and strategic partner. Through co-creation with the client, you analyze business challenges, identify key data insights, and structure information to uncover inefficiencies. By deeply understanding the customer's data, you collaboratively design and implement software solutions that optimize workflows, drive informed decision-making, and evolve alongside the business for long-term success.

How does your day look like?
It’s a combination between analysing data, shaping solutions together with the customer and developing the solution.

  • You actively listen to the customer, map the information and data and analyse the issues

  • Together with the customer, you work out possible solution models

  • You consult with colleagues about the best approach, switch to new technologies and draw up the architecture

  • A colleague or yourself develops the digital solutions (in Claris FileMaker, web technology, other code, etc.), tests them with the customer to achieve a workable and sustainable result.

About Lesterius
We guide our customers with the digitalization and automation of their business. We develop custom made applications and connect the different systems they are using to streamline operations and improve productivity. We setup, monitor and manage their applications and infrastructure. We coach our customer-developers to be in control of their applications. Technology is always at the center of our operations: the low code application development platform FileMaker, but we embrace as well AI or other upcoming technologies. You’re working from the Utrecht office or at the customer’s site. We have offices in different European countries and develop both projects deployed locally and internationally.

What we expect from you

  • You are a born problem solver with a strong interest in business processes.

  • You are analytical, accurate and have good communications skills.

  • You have at least a Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent through experience, and you are passionate about innovation and new coming technology.

  • You are autonomous in carrying out your tasks and enjoy working as part of a team.

  • You have a minimum of minimum 5 years of business experience.

  • You have experience in building or designing databases, custom software and integrating API’s.

Added bonus if you have

  • A strong interest in AI.

  • Knowledge of PHP, Angular, Laravel ,JavaScript, MySQL, XML, JSON, …

  • Experience of working with oData.

  • With Claris FileMaker being at the center of a lot of our operations, it is obviously a big plus

  • Analyst experience.
